It was more than a year ago that in the Trade Union House in Odessa a massacre took place. Anti-Maidan protesters who were demonstrating against the new coup government were driven into the Union House by Ukrainian nationalists and burned alive. The exact number of victims is yet unknown. It is estimated that at least 116 people were killed.
To date, the victims and their families aren’t granted peace; Ukrainian nazis keep attacking them.
After several attacks during the year, it now happened again, that on August 2nd, neo-Nazis stormed a memorial to the victims of the Odessa massacre.
Led by Mark Gordienko and Ewgenij Rezwuschkin the Nazis came to the Union House before the scheduled start of the commemoration. The Ukrainian Nazis attacked the citizens of Odessa that wore black balloons as a sign of mourning for the murdered. Reprisals and repression of dissidents happen everyday in Ukraine.
